Sunday Roast in Lingfield, Surrey

Ah, the Great British Pub Sunday. A national treasure, a much-loved weekly ritual, and an all-round roast-revering rite of passage.

When you step over the threshold on any given Sunday (coat still damp from a blustery walk) you are instantly enveloped in the warm, gravy-scented hug of the pub. Our place is welcoming, bustling with happy roast-ers every single Sunday; filled laughter, gratitude, and dog-at-your-feet charm.

Outside, the Great British weather’s doing something deeply dramatic (that seems likely) but inside it’s roast-heaven, and (quite frankly) the best place on Earth.

Best Sunday Roast

Plates arrive at your table, groaning under the weight of your fave centre-of-plate star, plus crispy roasties, butter-glossed veg, and Yorkie puds the size of your head (you know the ones).

The pints are perfectly poured, gravy boats are topped-up, and pud is a syrupy sponge-and-custard situation that could bring a tear to your eye (and it has, more than once).

Food and Drinks

Everyone's Welcome

Are you looking for a Surrey pub that’s perfect for warming up after a pooch-mooch? Or are you’re looking for the best place to take the kids for lunch? Everybody is welcome here, as we’re dog friendly and family friendly too – as all good pubs should be.

Child-friendly roast choices make our pub spot on for a family meal.

You’ll love our piled-high plates of family-friendly sharing roasts.

You can help yourself (biscuits and water galore) from our doggie treat station.

There’re bucket-loads of places nearby that are just right for a dog walk.

Pretty Surrey Pub

There’s no place cosier, comfier, or more inviting than our lovely pub on a summers day.

With plenty of sun-shine-filled garden spaces to stretch out in (perfect if you prefer to dine alfresco) and cosy corners to cuddle up in. And if it’s chilly, the wood-burning stoves will do their magic.

And when it’s time to leave – don’t. After you finish your roast-ing simply grab a board game and settle in for just one more drink.

From Our Guests

Lovely Sunday Roast Lovely atmosphere, great food and fantastic waitress, Emma really looked after us for our son’s 13th birthday meal. Dog friendly too, they get looked after as well we did.

We were a party of 7 (including three children) who attended on Sunday afternoon. We all had Sunday roast and were all very pleased; the stand-out choice was the sharer chicken which was absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful, speed of service was excellent and atmosphere lovely.

Fantastic building, great food and excellent service, have been there a dozen times on our travels and never disappoints. Highly recommend.

Sundays at the Pub FAQ's

We’d recommend it (particularly if you’re a large group of guests) but we always aim to save seats for our walk-in guests.

Our Sunday menus (and all our food & drinks menus, in fact) are available on 0ur Food & Drinks page.

Absolutely. Just chat to the team on arrival (or give us a call before your booking).
