Our (rather special) 16th century pub is set in the oh-so-pretty village of Lingfield. Full of charm, character and traditional beauty – from our flagstones to our rafters.
We’re here for sociable pints (and a good natter), tucking into pub classics (like fish & chips) in the garden, or big. fat Sunday roasts with family. We’re passionate about good beer, and we mix it up with cool, craft-y beers on tap, familiar favourites, and traditional ales (like Harveys) too.
Not only all that, but you can throw a top-tier party here too, in our pub’s private bookable spaces (including the Secret Garden).

Sunday is for the whole family (dogs and all) getting together and settling in for a long-and-lovely lunch. And there’s honestly no place on Earth (possibly the universe) more welcoming than our pub on a Sunday.
We’re talking roaring fires, big smiles, and there’s the scent of gravy in the air. Hefty portions of crisp roast potatoes, and yorkies the size of your head are the icing on the cake.
We love where we live. Surrey has a bushel-full of orchards, vineyards, and we have farms on our doorstep too – it doesn’t get more local than that. And so, we make sure that uber-local British ingredients are the star of our dishes.
The days are longer and the hunger for sunny afternoons in the garden are stronger. So give in to temptation for post-work pints, Saturday lunches (that last all day) and feasting with your family
