Community Allotment - Coming Soon!

With a nod to British history, we are embracing the great outdoors and turning our adjacent field into a community allotment. With produce grown by you - the locals for the locals – we would like to call on the help of diverse groups within the community of all ages and abilities – with fresh produce making its way onto our menu and our very own brown and green waste recycled to make compost. The allotment will not only bring back a little bit of British nostalgia and community spirit, but will be a truly vibrant space for the whole community to unite and come together as one.

Can you help?
Our allotment project is launching at the end of March and we are looking for any volunteers who would be interested in helping us! There are roles to suit your availability, whether weekly or one-off events. With a wide variety of positions available for all skills, ages and backgrounds. From planting/developing beds, creating compost areas, weeding and other general gardening duties - there is always room to help your community. If you would like to be involved or to find out more, you can either come and see us or drop us an email to theredbarn@geronimo-inns.co.uk.

Do your children like listening to stories? Join us each and every Sunday between 2- 3pm for ‘Stories on a Sunday’ presented by The Cat’s Grin Theatre Company. With traditional fairy tales and stories of magic and wonder featuring fantastic creatures and faraway places, our much-loved children's stories will capture imaginations and keep little ones entertained for an hour or so whilst you get to finish off your pudding and enjoy that well deserved glass of wine.

From Alice & Wonderland, Goldilocks and the Three Bears to Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella and Wind in the Willows, our beautifully re-told stories are presented through a unique combination of narration, live action and audience participation.
