Set in the outstanding Surrey countryside, just half an hour away from London, our beautiful pub is the perfect spot to celebrate your wedding reception.

With ample inside and outside space, you have all the room you need (plus more) to kick-back and relax with your much-loved ones (including children) in comfort. Ideal for a casual, country-style celebration, a more formal sit-down, supper affair, or simply stripped back, simple festivities for your nearest-and-dearest. Pick from one of our good-looking bookable event spaces – The Barn, Orangery, Pantry or Paddock.

Our fabulous Head Chef Hugh will help with the planning, devising delicious dishes to suit both your palate and the season. From lavish dinners. to bite-sized grazing options, always made with the freshest, local ingredients, prepared with love & care, and served beautifully for your guests to enjoy.

Breathtakingly beautiful, our 500 year old barn building boasts vaulted ceilings, wooden beams, stunning fireplace and oodles of olde-worlde charm.

This area is dynamic – tables can be set for large or small groups, and there’s acres of space for a dance floor, bands or other entertainment (while still feeling comfortably cosy)

This is a very special event space for those who fancy something a bit different for their Surrey-based celebrations.

Capacity:   100 seated – 125 standing

Available to hire: Monday – Saturday

Light, bright and gorgeously good-looking, this is the best place in Surrey (possibly the world) to celebrate.

With multi-functional spaces that can be set for dining, or for more casual drinks & nibbles, plus direct access to the (not-so) Secret Garden, it’s the ideal setting.

Capacity:  40 seated – 60 standing

Our pretty-as-a-picture garden is heated & covered, making it suitable for celebrations all year round.

Set with tablecloths for more formal dining, it makes a stunning spot for a sun-set supper. Laid out more casually (with room for shaking your tail feathers) it’s a great outside area for a big party.

Super cosy, with plenty of natural light, our private dining room is just right for a bijou get-together.

From those pre-wedding wine tastings, to menu chats with chef – we’ll work with you every step of the way.

From a more formal sit-down supper, to casual classic dishes (think gorgeous game pie and a proper pint) or fancy-drinks & bite-sized nibbles – you choose what works for you and your guests.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we have our ceremony at the Red Barn?

Not yet – but watch this space. You can have a fantastic after-party though. Big dinners or more casual drinks & nibbles parties – it’s all possible.

Can we decorate the pub?

Absolutely – though we are very pretty to begin with.

We allow table decorations (these look fab) flowers – naturally – and helium balloons. Let us know if you would like recommendations.

How do we get booked-in?

You can get pencilled-in straight away.

Once you’re ready to commit (so to speak) we’ll ask for a deposit payment.

 

Can we have an external caterer?

No, however our Head Chef Hugh would love to work with you to create the ideal food for your wedding.

Full menu choices, plus special dietary requirements are agreed 14 days in advance, so you’ve plenty of time.
